Lone Star has been frying donuts on North Beckley since 1950, seven days a week, starting at five in the morning. The case still fills up before sunrise with glazed, fancy and jelly filled donuts, kolaches and cinnamon rolls. What changed is the kitchen behind it: breakfast burritos, tacos, tortas, tamales and Mexican plates now come out of the same counter. Donuts and tacos, one stop, one line.
Every day at 5:00 am. Monday through Friday we close at 4:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 pm. The donuts are fried fresh before we open.
Yes. Half dozen, classic dozen and fancy dozen, and you pick the mix when you add it to your order. Kolaches also come by the half dozen or the dozen.
Yes. Breakfast burritos and croissants all morning, plus tacos, tortas, quesadillas, huaraches, sopes, tamales, menudo and taco plates with rice and beans.
Yes. Fajita boxes, 20 taco orders, tamales by the dozen and barbacoa by the pound are on the menu. For a big order call us at (214) 238-7023 so we have it ready.
